The first thing you have to figure out is your area of interest. For ERS, this is wide open; however, I recommend that you consider your major as your area of interest. This can be a good starting point from which we can start to narrow to a particular subject to a particular situation to a particular topic.

ReplyDeleteFor me, I really interested to know more about culture of other countries. It can be many things like art, food, drinks or dressing. I like to learn about other country's culture because I want to know how it is different from my own country. Specifically, the topic that you gave it to us "Drinking alcohol and culture", I really interested and wondered at the same time that how drinking alcohol can become a culture?. So, according to my research, I found about German beers, which is a symbol of Germany. Moreover, it makes me want to know more about their culture, their style of living and many more.
Culture is also one of my main interests. If beer culture in Germany really interests you, we can go that way. There are many more ideas similar to this that we can explore. It is better to think of alcohol as a part of food and dining culture. Beer in Germany... Wine in France... Vodka in Russia... Sake in Japan.... Etc.

I think it is interesting to know the structures of business in order to do own businesses. The one point that I see is successful businessmen do not ignore their opportunities, and they do not give up. Therefore, I want to know deeply that how people success in their businesses?, how they make powerful brands?, how they make excellent marketing? and how to create a stability?.
You have a lot of ideas here, so you're going to need to choose a field.... Marketing? Management? Organizational behaviour? Motivation strategies? Make a choice.

ReplyDeleteMy area of interest is about mental power of people's mind because it is very complicated to work out the truth of the invisible power that remain stay deep inside of every person. Our mental power can give you both positive and negative things for your lives, it is about how to think positive ways. I'm quite interest in these kind of area because it could help and improve my life with more positive things to achieve any goals that I wanted to do.

DeleteThe area that I am interested in is about law. But not too law. I've read many books and news about executions, and I think, they are interesting. I don't know that it is gonna be a dark story or not, but it looks more shocking and enlighting with execution law of other country focusing in Thailand like it should be used for punishment or not, and the differences of this punishment in other countries. What is the criterion for this.
ReplyDeleteThis can work. It can be about law, and about ethics or morality. Some countries find execution an acceptable penalty, while others do not. It might interesting examine what the different reasons are.

As we, all, can learn from the mistakes made by ourselves, history is a another way to help figure the answer to solve the current situation harming mankind. Because life is to learn, we can see our mistakes from the past and avoid doing those again. Another thing making me want to learn more about history is the story and background of mankind. How could we separate to be nations? What happens when famous people change the world? What did they do our world? Those questions are just a few questions from many questions I want to know.

ReplyDeleteThe area that I am interested in is about animals because nowadays people tend to have pets in order to reduce loneliness or tame them for some help such as guide dogs. The main point that catch my attention is about the loyalty of the pets. So, I would like to know what are the reasons why so many people trust their pets so much and feed them like their own child.
Ok... This is actually a culture topic. The role and relationships of pets. Now, that is slightly different from guide dogs as this is not just a pet but a function. Think about this topic from a cultural point of view.

Ok... Culture shock is a real experience. It is not just the surprise of new things, but it is a process of adaptation to a new culture. Read a little more about this.
