Unlike other limited resources like trees or oil or minerals, ideas are plentiful and sustainable and seemingly unlimited. To all of our world's problems, we look for inspiration and innovation to save us, whether it is by thinking of a new technology, creating a new strategy, or trying new methods of doing things in our daily lives.At the same time, we know where the trees are. We know where to get the oil and how to find the minerals... but ideas... good ideas... they are a little more mysterious. How do they happen? Sometimes they just pop into our head in the middle of the night. Maybe they emerge from a conversation with a friend or in a class discussion. Sometimes they just happen.

To illustrate, when someone encounter problems, they should have intention and positive mind. By thinking that, they feel hope to tackle the problems. In addition, inspiration might happen when people have a role model or reading books. Many activities in their life make them have inspiration, namely sports, music, and families. Hence, inspiration is curious, but it would positively affect people's lives.
There sre many sources that you list, but as you say... Hope seems to be key. Hopelessness is the absence of inspiration.

ReplyDeleteIdeas make us unique, make us who we are. In the business world people who are able think of something creative and change from wants to needs is the one who control the market. Everyone wants to increase their standard of living and how do they so? they seek for new ideas.
Ideas come from a simple question. What do we need? Why do we need? and how can we make it better. Some ideas were built based on simple inspiration such as our dreams. Everyone wants to make our dream comes true. Who could imagine that we can travel via plane or talk to each other without seeing each other and now it happens. All of these creative tools were built based on these factors.
Ideas scatter everywhere in our daily life. I do believe that as we spend more time in our life, spending time talking to people or doing something, we do get a new ideas or inspiration. Everyone have different perspectives, different needs, different objective in life, and different dream.
Ideas and inspiration is one of the most important things in this world. It is the only thing that kept this world alive. We seek to be better, we seek convenience and that what makes us a human not any normal living thing on the universe.
Ideas are a human thing. No other animals need ideas as much as they need instincts. Human ideas come from our interactions with other human beings as well as other things in our world.

ReplyDeleteIdeas and Inspiration are something that are hardly to define and illustrate. They definitely will not just pop up in our mind if one only sitting without doing anything. I feel that an ideas and inspiration can be found when one encounter something interesting or it grab their attention. Those interesting things can be in any form like a line from book, a lyric of the song, an accident or a normal life activities. Because each one of us see different things in one day, one accident may inspire one person but not the others. Therefore, it is all depends on how one of us see and interpret the events that we encounter.
I like this comment. People do experience the world in different ways and take different messages or lessons. It is what makes us quite unique, and gives us the diversity of opinions that inspire new ways of thinking.

ReplyDeleteThere are countless areas to impact someone’s inspirations such as families, movie stars, eminent athletes and even his or her own minds. Personally, family might be the first area to inspire almost everyone. For instance, when people were infants, they certainly do not know what they have to do, what they have to eat or how to speak as well. Hence, they undeniable have to imitate their families and also have families to be their role models. Additionally, when people grow up into boys and girls, most of them also want to be like their fathers or mothers. As you can obviously see when teachers give homework about who your inspiration is, most of students will answer that their inspirations are their fathers or mothers. You may feel that it is ridiculous, but if you look back and see yourselves, you will find something in yourselves that likes your own families. Like father, like son:)
This is interesting. There is some point where instincts change into ideas. As an infant, when is the point when a baby starts producing his/her ideas on their own? While we do take after our parents in many ways, we also differ from them.

ReplyDeleteGenerally, when people are asked what does their inspiration come from, they will answer that inspiration comes from all around. In my perspective, inspiration might come from what situations or problems that we are confronted with. The problems that we deal with might force us to initiate a new idea or good idea in order to tackle the problems. For instance, when people are dealing with environmental issues, the problems force them to innovate the practical strategies to solve the problems. By the same token, ideas cannot be exactly defined. They are all around, and what you are interested in, experience or see are ideas. How do they happen? It is hard to explain how our brain process and give us an idea. Sometimes they need an inducement, such as working pressure, to motivate our brain to initiate an idea. To sum up, although inspiration and idea cannot be exactly explained where they come from, they can make our lives more comfortable and improve human beings.

For example, when I have problems i always ask others advise, and adapt those comments to make my own decision. Most of my inspiration come form others experiences. DeletePersonally, the experiences I have met in my daily life are the initial basis of creating a new idea. In everyday life, I have met numerous new situations such as trying the new food, making new conversations with new friends or even watching the new channels. All of those things will be transferred to my brain's memory card and finally collected. Thus, when someone asks me to provide some ideas in each topic, the first picture that pops up into my minds will actually comes from my memory. However, like what I have said before, experience is just the foundation of creating new idea. At the same time, creativity is the most important thing that we should have to continue our idea to become a unique one.

For me, my ideas usually occurred when i am absent-minded or when I start to questioning things around me. Great ideas normally pop up in my head when I began to think outside of the box. ReplyDeleteThere is no specific destination to find an answer how the inspiration happen and where do ideas come from. Both ideas and inspiration can happen everywhere and anytime namely, when you listen to a piece of music, when you have a conversation or when you experience something new that affects your emotion. The ideas can suddenly pop up in your mind and make your imagination become more realistic. Moreover, inspiration can come from the people that are biologically relates to you or the person who you admire such as your favorite celebrity, singer or athletes. All of this factor can positively inspired and influenced you to follow your dreams and achieved your goal. To further clarify, when the author wrote a book and the singer composed song lyrics, both of them need to find some new ideas to make their piece of work attract the audience. Their ideas can come from the environment, regular routine or their experiences. Therefore, inspiration and ideas are the process that stimulated you to be more creative. It makes you have passion and determination to do things more successfully.

To have an idea you have to have interest about the topic. Some topics you will even need to talk to different people to see different point of view in order to get an idea about something. In my point of view as long as there is inspiration one day the idea will come to you.

When we think too hard to find the new idea, it was not come up, but when we do not think anything. It was there! It just happen. Such a mysterious thing, and I am not sure how it come. However, inspiration is even more mysterious. Almost everyone has this. It happen when you love to do somethings. Inspiration is like a power to make you move forward. One of the hardest things in your life is to achieve your goals, and all of those things need inspiration to complete. Because when you love somethings you will do it as best as you can. It is true to say that achieve a goal is not easy, and not everyone can reach their goals. However, people can do it if they do not give up. Without realizing, places that you walk pass by, things that you see, songs that you listen to; and those people that you talk with can always give you some good ideas. In the first semester, I will try my best to get A in GPD even though it is so difficult. This is because I have several actives that are important to do. One of them is playing football. After playing football, i always ask my friend which parts I should realise and improve. Like music, I am bassist, and I want to be a good bassist so every time when I am free, I will practice it. My friends always ask me whether it is possible that I am able to do all these things well, I confidently say that I will try my best and I will never leave one of them because they are what I love, and they make me know where my inspiration comes from.

Furthermore, inspiration can convince people to create things and can encourage people not to let up their lives. For example, Derrick Rose who is a pro-basketball player gave his speech on his most valuable player ceremony about how he got this far and became one of the greatest player of all time. His speech inspired me to develop my basketball skills and gave me an idea of not giving up on what I want to achieve.

ReplyDeleteThe question of where do ideas come from have baffled the greatest thinkers of the pre-Socratic era to modern people in this current epoch. Ideas can have many roots of origin, for instance a person can get an idea from another persons idea and improve this, that is also a form of inspiration.
Another way ideas can happen is by listening to music or listening to a very charismatic speaker, they have the ability to plant seedlings of ideas into our mind which we then can expand on when we think about it at night before bedtime. Unlike more concrete objects such as natural resources, ideas are very abstract, but that is not to say it can not be turned into a concrete object, a good representation of this can be represented by Steve jobs who had an idea of personalizing computers for the general public, he put a lot of effort and time into this and created his empire of personal computers, Apple. To expand on how ideas can come from music, I would like to point out that everybody differs from each other therefor people can interpret lyrics from songs very differently. Heavy metal music, for some people may trigger emotions of chaos but to others it helps them vent there anger, and if you can understand the lyrics of Heavy Metal music then you will get the general idea of what the song is really about and from that information we can generate our own unique ideas, however this is not to say that ideas just pop into our head it takes a "thinking session" before a proper idea can me though up.

ReplyDeleteTalking about the inspiration, this word has a lots of meanings and I am pretty sure that it can encourage many people as well. My inspiration comes in my mind in many ways but depends on what topic it is. Like, if I want to build or make something for my family, for a special occasion, I look down to myself about what my parent gave me in my life's time and I will ask myself that how much effort I can put on something that I am going to do for them. It is like something that you really care and put as much as effort on it. My inspiration also comes from others people those I respect or you can call this word as "idol" or "hero". They are all good inspiration for me, I can look at these guys and I can tell myself that what I am going to do. Because these guys, my heroes or idols, are the guys that I want to look like or be like them. And being inspirited by these guys are so meaningful to me. Also another inspiration that comes across my mind is by looking at the past, I will look down at myself in the past about what I want to improve or make it better in the future. I can learn it from the past and make it better as an inspiration. So the word inspiration has lots of meaning for me and I can tell you by these ways as I mentioned from started.
It is certainly a word with many meanings, and I wonder if these different kinds of inspirations have different kinds of functions for your or anyone. Some show us the potential of the human body or mind... others just give us something to think about in a new way. Inspiration may have big and small effects on us.

I usually go out side and see many things in the city such as the skyscrapers and people on the street. I will get the inspiration when I listening to the music and see many things around me. To illustrate, People may create an idea when they are driving a car or walking along the street.
